Colleen J. Templeman

Colleen J. Templeman, 90 of South Sioux City passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2025. A visitation will be Tuesday, March 11, 2025 from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. at Mohr & Becker-Hunt Funeral Home in South Sioux City. Burial will be at a later date at Laurel Cemetery.

Colleen was born the daughter of Edwin and Birdie (McFadden) Jordan on July 8, 1934 in Ponca, Nebraska. She grew up in the Martinsburg area and received her schooling in Allen. Colleen married Clifford Templeman April 13, 1954 in Luverne, Minnesota. They made their home on the farm in rural Martinsburg. After Clifford died in 2009, Colleen moved to Ponca.

Colleen was an avid reader and enjoyed listening to country music. In her younger years she liked to garden and tend to her flowers.

Colleen is survived by her daughter Helen Pearson of Moville, IA; step-son, Dennis (Kathy) Templeman of Ponca, NE; 6 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; siblings, Robert Jordan and Jenny Wagner.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clifford; daughter, Christine; brother, Kenny; and sisters, Mary and Darlene.
