In 1986 she met Ronald Roering, and the two have been the love of each other’s lives ever since. They were never separated until Connie’s passing, but their love will live on forevermore.
Connie worked for the City of Le Mars, the City of Sioux City, and finished her working career at the Municipal Credit Union where she worked for nearly 20 years.
Connie enjoyed spending time with her family and grandkids; she loved music and attending concerts, and enjoyed taking vacations to Branson, the Black Hills, and Wisconsin.
She is survived by her son, Marc Bauman; Marc’s children: Jordyn Bauman (Ulises Salas) and their baby-to-be, “the player to be named later,” all of Sioux City, and Breckin Anderson of South Sioux City; the love of her life, Ron Roering, of Sioux City; Ron’s sons: James “Jim” Roering of Sergeant Bluff; and Mark Roering (Emily) and their children: Zach, McKenna, and Lainey, all of Des Moines.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
