Corrine M. Saline, 95, of Sioux City, IA passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at Ridgewood Rehab and Care Center in Seward, NE.Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, November 13, 2015 at Mohr Funeral Home in South Sioux City, NE. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sioux City, IA. Visitation will begin at 11:00 A.M. prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.Corrine was born in Plankinton, SD on January 27, 1920, the daughter of John and Gertrude (Church) Fett. She married Eldon Strandburg and to this union two children, Barbara (Strandburg) Stuart and Larry Strandburg were born. Eldon passed away in 1945. She married Clarence Saline in 1946 and to this union one son, Ronald Saline was born. Clarence passed away in 1998. Corrine was a housewife, sold Avon and was the owner of Corrine's Ceramics. She also worked at the Battery Building in Sioux City during World War II.She enjoyed dancing, bowling, cards, dominos, shuffling, ceramics, sewing and wintering in Texas.Survivors include her daughter, Barbara (Edward) Stuart, and son, Ronald (Sylvia) Saline all of Sioux City, IA; daughter-in-law, Judy Strandburg of Schleswig, IA; fifteen grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and many great-great grandchildren.Corrine was preceded in death by her parents, John and Gertrude Fett; her husbands, Eldon Strandburg and Clarence Saline; a son, Larry Strandburg; grandson, Jason Saline; great-grandson, Michael Clarence Saline; a brother, Philip Fett; and two sisters, Opal Bolen and Shirley "Babe" Rasmussen.
