D. Timmy Collins

April 24, 1975 — January 28, 2021

Daniel “Timmy” Collins, 45, of Lawton, IA, passed away January 28, 2021, at a local hospital.  A memorial service will be held Friday, February 5 at 11:00 A.M. at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel.  Visitation will be from 9-11 A.M. at the funeral home.  The service will be zoomed at https://zoom.us/j/95262197198?pwd=VEk1bkdCcmkxRTBiUmpnbUJDc0ZwZz09 Online condolences may be made to www.meyerbroschapels.com.

Timmy was born on April 24, 1975, in Denver, CO, the son of Austin and JoAnn (Collins) Keaveny.  He was united in marriage to Kari Baker on May 1, 2004, in Las Vegas, NV.  They were blessed with two children, Nikolas and Parker.  The family moved to Lawton in 2019.  Timmy enjoyed a successful twenty year career at Comcast as a Tech Ops Manager.  He enjoyed cars, dirt bikes and ATVs, cards and games, cooking on the smoker and BBQ.  He was a talented wood worker, light builder, and computer whiz.  Timmy had a big heart and would do anything to help anyone in need.  He especially loved spending time with his wife, children, family and friends who meant the world to him.

 

Those left to honor his memory include his wife Kari Collins, Lawton, IA; children: Nikolas and Parker Collins; parents, Austin and JoAnn Keaveny, Aurora, CO; siblings: Anne (Michael) Coyle, Parker, CO; Tina (Dan) Walling, Victor, MT; William (Megan) Keaveny, Aurora, CO; Austin (Olga) Keaveny, Aurora, CO; mother-in-law, Eunice (Mark) Sternadel, Wichita Falls, TX; sister-in-law, Jennifer Jepsen, Lawton, IA; and several nieces.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Tom Keaveny.
