Daisy T. Geidl

Daisy T. Geidl, 100, of South Sioux City passed away on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at a local care facility.Graveside services will be held at a later date in Rose Hill Cemetery, Whittier, CA. There will be no local services or visitation. Arrangements are under the direction of Mohr Funeral Home in South Sioux City,Daisy was born in Sioux City, IA on August 30, 1912, the daughter of Arthur H. and May D. (Crayne) Prosser. She was married to Russell Geidl who preceded her in death while the couple lived in California. She moved to South Sioux City six years ago to be closer to her daughter.She is survived by her daughter, Janice M. Deasey of South Sioux City; and three grandchildren, Richard Deasey, Linda Clayton and Sharon Deasey.Daisy was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Russell; three brothers, Howard, George and Robert; and two sisters, Dorothy and Maxine.
