David Joseph Biddle

David Joseph Biddle, 70 of Sioux City, passed away on Thursday, December 2, 2021 as a result of an automobile accident.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 9, 2021 at Cathedral of the Epiphany Parish, St. Boniface Catholic Church with Father Jeremy Wind as Celebrant.  Fellowship and refreshments will be enjoyed following the Mass in the Parish Center.  Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel has assisted the family.

David was born on February 24, 1951 in Winner, South Dakota to Robert and Kathleen (Smith) Biddle.  He was a  faith-driven soul, loving his membership to the Knights of Columbus through the Catholic Church, enjoying membership of the Cathedral of the Epiphany Parish, St. Boniface Catholic Church, and was a 40+ year member of AA.  At the time of his passing, David was employed by the Gospel Mission. 

David loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.  He enjoyed watching Lawrence Welk on Saturday nights, attending church and praying the Rosary.

David is survived by his daughter Dawn Flaugh and son Dustin Biddle, both of Sioux City; grandchildren Spencer (Samantha) Wright, Bailey (Terry) Berg, Jacob Biddle, and Dawson Flaugh; and great-granddaughter Alice Wright.

David was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Charity Biddle, brothers Martin Biddle and Donald Biddle, and sister Claudia Schermer.
