David J. Buehlmann

David J. Buehlmann, 56, of Sioux City passed away on Saturday May 18, 2019 at a Sioux City hospital.

Celebration of life will be held Sunday June 9, 2019 from 10 a.m. till 3 p.m. with a service at 2:00 p.m. in Riverside Park Shelter # 4.

David was born on May 8, 1963 in Yankton, SD the son of John Herman and Helen (Lapinig) Buehlmann Jr.  David married Stacey Waterland on September 13, 1996 in Sioux City, Iowa.  David was employed as a cook at Sugar Daddy’s in North Sioux City, SD. In his free time David loved to camp, fish, golf but most of all spend time with his family.

David is survived by his wife: Stacey of Sioux City, IA; son: John Ayala of Euless, TX; daughter: Britani & Alejandro Rodriguez of So Sioux City, NE; brothers: James & Michelle Buehlmann of Independence, MO, John Buehlmann of Minneapolis, MN; sisters: Lorna Martin of Sioux City, IA, Rose & Roberto Castaneda of Sioux City, IA, Dori & Edward Buehlmann-Scott of Oklahoma City, OK, Angie Maresch of Sioux City; three grandsons; several nieces and nephews.

David was preceded in death by his parents; sister: Phoebe Buehlmann; Brother-In -Law: Wes Martin.
