Del A. Chase, 63, of South Sioux City, NE passed away on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at a local hospital.Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, July 3, 2017 at Mohr Funeral Home in South Sioux City, NE. Visitation with the family present will begin at 10:00 A.M. Monday at the funeral home.Del was born on April 28, 1954 in Culver City, CA, the son of Hal and Doloris (McArdle) Chase. He attended South Sioux City High School before serving in the U.S. Army. He was a welder at Wilson Trailer, worked at IBP, and owned/operated rental properties in Sioux City, IA.Del loved to go boating and swimming in the "Muddy Mo", enjoyed working on cars and riding his motorcycle, and cherished his 2 dogs, Max "Booger" and Toby. Survivors include his brother, Scott (Terry) Chase of South Sioux City, NE; sisters, Pat (Chuck) Corder of McCook Lake, SD and Joan (Jim) Manning of Sioux City, IA; and several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents, Hal and Doloris Chase; and sisters, Mickey Chase and Cindy Chase.
