Dennis "Coot" R. Lamprecht

Dennis "Coot" Lamprecht, 59, of Ponca, NE passed away on June 21, 2013 at his home while surrounded by his family.Per his request cremation has taken place. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Monday, June 24, 2013 at the Mohr Funeral Home in Ponca, NE. There will be no services. Burial will be at a later date at Silver Ridge Cemetery in rural Ponca, NE.Dennis was born on July 19, 1953 in Ponca, NE, the son of Maxine (Russell) and Carl Lamprecht, Jr. He graduated from Ponca High School. He married Pamela Beldin in Ponca, NE on June 6, 1973. He farmed his entire life in the Ponca area.He enjoyed tractor pulls, fishing, bowling, playing cards with his friends, hunting, and more than anything his granddaughter Jordan.Survivors include his wife, Pam of Ponca, NE; one son, Paul and his wife Julie and granddaughter Jordan of Ponca, NE; his mother Maxine of Ponca, NE; two sisters, Janice and her husband Dale Taylor of Allen, NE, and Judy Lamprecht of Ponca, NE; one brother, Gary and his wife Jody of Wakefield, NE; and many nieces and nephews.Dennis was preceded in death by his father, Carl "Babe" Lamprecht; and both paternal and fraternal grandparents.
