Dolores Kramper, 80, of Dakota City, NE passed away at her residence, while surrounded by her family on Monday, November 26, 2012.Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, November 29, 2012 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in South Sioux City, NE with Father Paul Albenesius officiating. Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Mohr Funeral Home in South Sioux City, NE on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 beginning with a rosary at 5:30 P.M., visitation with the family present from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., with a scriptural wake service at 7:00 P.M. She was a member of the first class to graduate from Bishop Heelan High School in 1950. She attended Briar Cliff College for 2 years obtaining her teaching certificate, and taught in the Sioux City Public Schools for 4 years.Dolores married Donald Kramper on June 18, 1955 at Cathedral in Sioux City, IA. Dolores was a member of St. Michael's Parish in South Sioux City, NE. She was a charter member of the Court Mary Our Queen 2055, Craft and Culture Club and a 4-H leader.Dolores enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She looked forward to daily visits on the phone with her family and friends and watching all Husker sports. She loved taking cruises and traveling with her family and friends. She knew how to enjoy life and made the best of all the opportunities that it had to offer.Survivors include her husband, Donald Kramper of Dakota City, NE; two daughters, Karen (Rex) Greenwell of Duluth, MN, Nancy (Glenn) Sedivy of Sioux City, IA; two sons, Brian (Mindy) Kramper of South Sioux City, NE and Allen (Laurie) Kramper of St. Charles, IA; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mary (Robert) Jorgensen of Sioux City, IA and Elizabeth Hirschman of Lincoln, NEDolores was preceded in death by her parents, Miles and Mary Barrett; siblings, Ambrose and Mary Barrett, Sister M. Bertilla Barrett and Sister M. Ellen Therese Barrett.In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the family.
