Donald “Duck” Brewer, 76, of Arizona City, AZ passed away on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 from a lengthy illness. A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at Mohr & Becker-Hunt Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Duck was born on April 20, 1945 in Sioux City to William and Rita Brewer. He was a childhood resident of Ponca, and then moved to South Sioux City where he remained a lifelong resident.
He married Judy D. Barker on February 1, 1964. The two were married for 49 years until her passing in 2013. They had 5 children together.
He drove a semi all his life. His passions were motorcycles, dune buggies, camping and spending time with his family. He never met a stranger, and anyone who ever met him and knew him, loved him. He loved his family above all.
Those left to cherish his memory include his children: Julie Graves (Walter Wheeler) of Foyil, OK; Ducky Brewer (Julie Wilson) of South Sioux City; Tony Brewer of South Sioux City; Becky LeBlanc (Kirk) of Vinton, LA; and Jesse Brewer ( Fiancé Kaleigh) of South Sioux City; grandchildren: Mindy, Aric, Andrew, Jaret, Peyton, Jacey, and Lilly; great-grandchildren: Rindy and Ciara; Linda Guy of Homer, NE, a special friend; sisters: Rosemary Benson (Bob) of Dade City, FL; Linda Jones (John Hey) of Sioux City; and Deb Otto of Centerville, SD; and Betty Crnich, a very special person in his life.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Brewer; parents, William and Rita Brewer; and brothers, Terry, Bill, and Mike.
