Donna Rae Kreymborg

Donna R. Kreymborg, 78, of Sioux City, IA formerly of Danbury, Iowa, passed away Saturday, June 1, 2019.  A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, June 7 at St. Mathew Lutheran Church in Mapleton, Iowa.  Burial will be held at a later date at Mt. Donna was born on March 22, 1941 in Sioux City, IA to Robert and Jane Louise (Cook) Kempton.  She attended Morningside schools and graduated from East High School in 1959.  She married Charles E. Kreymborg in 1959 in Sioux City, Iowa.  They had six children.  Donna worked in retail and later became a regional bookkeeping manager for Good Samaritan Nursing Homes.  She enjoyed spending time with family and her close friends.  Her hobbies included crocheting, cross stitch, needle point and reading.

Those left to honor her memory include her children Kathy Milner, Sioux City, IA, Patty (Tim) Sanderson, Mapleton, IA, daughter-in-law, Toni Kreymborg, Mapleton, IA, Diana (Bert) Schauer, Mapleton, IA, and Mary (Doug) Schumann, Macon, GA.  She also leaved behind several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; a sister Nancy Wilkinson and sister-in-law Joyce Kempton.

Donna is preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles, two sons Kevin Charles and Michael Jon, grandsons Anthony Schumann, Joseph Milner, and Christopher Divis; and her brother Steve Kempton.
