Dorothy M. Fiscus-Lux

Dorothy Margaret Fiscus-Lux, 84, of South Sioux City, NE, passed away April 28, 2022.  A memorial service will be held Wednesday, May 4^th at 11:00 a.m. at Mohr & Becker-Hunt Funeral Home.  Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.  Online condolences may be made to www.meyerbroschapels.com.

Dorothy was born on November 8, 1937 in Forrest Park, IL to Jacob and Lillian (Bargeman) Sutter.  She graduated from high school in Illinois and was united in marriage to Robert “Bob” Fiscus in 1955.  To this union they were blessed with 2 children.  The couple moved to South Sioux City in 1955.  After his death, she married Ed Lux in 1989.  Dorothy enjoyed reading, watching movies, and dancing in her younger years.  She was a member of First Lutheran Church in South Sioux City, NE.

Those left to honor her memory include her children: Barry (Connie) Fiscus, Jackson, NE, Andy (Jan) Lux, Hubbard, NE, Dan (Cindy) Lux, Hubbard, NE, Cindy (Kurt) Hammer, Phoenix, AZ; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Bob (Carrie) Sutter, Allegan, MI; and special friend, Richard Smith, Dakota City, NE.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Bob and Ed; daughter, Laura Mattson; brother, Bill Sutter; and granddaughter, Ashley Mason.
