Edna M. Pojar, 81, of South Sioux City, NE passed away on Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at a Sioux City hospital.Funeral services will be at 10:30 A.M. on Thursday, December 9, 2010 at the Mohr Funeral Home in South Sioux City, NE with Rev. Keith Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Omaha Valley Cemetery in rural Homer, NE. Visitation will be from 5 pm to 8 pm, with the family present from 6 pm to 8 pm on Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at the funeral home. She attended and graduated from South Sioux City High School. Edna married Bob Pojar on December 23, 1948 in South Sioux City, NE. She was a homemaker.Edna was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in South Sioux City, NE.She enjoyed her dogs, crafting and flower arranging.Survivors include two sons, Paul (Wanda) Pojar of Murfreesboro, TN and Ken (Patty) Pojar of South Sioux City, NE; five grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Bess Greenleaf of Denver, CO, Burdell (Dale) Tatman of Mesa, AZ, and Betty Craig of St. Paul, MN; many nieces and nephews.Edna was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; an infant son; and three brothers.
