Elinore E. Bobier

Elinore E. Bobier, 86 of Sioux City, IA, formerly of South Sioux City, NE passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2017 at a local hospital.Memorial services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Mohr Funeral Home in South Sioux City, NE with Rev. Jose Miranda of St. Paul United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Omaha Valley Cemetery in rural Homer, NE. Visitation with the family present will begin at 9:30 A.M. at the funeral home on Saturday.Elinore was born on June 2, 1930 in Vermillion, SD, the daughter of Cecil and Leona (Doane) Sealey. She attended school in Vermillion and Wagner, SD. She married Cecil Bobier on June 20, 1948 in Elk Point, SD. The couple moved to South Sioux City, NE and were blessed with five children. Elinore was a homemaker and was very involved in her children's activities. After Cecil passed away on January 17, 1981, Elinore worked as a caregiver for Region IV for a number of years. She lived in Sioux City for the past four years.She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge in Vermillion, SD and was active in the PTA, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts when her children were young. She enjoyed long rides, having coffee with friends, and she loved spending time with her grandchildren.Survivors include her children, Jerry (Jan) Bobier and Bobby (Cindy) Bobier of South Sioux City, NE, Donna (Tom) Bobier and Tammy Bobier of Sioux City, IA; daughter-in-law, Robin Bobier of South Sioux City, NE; grandchildren, Amy, Angela, Jennifer, Scott, Rustin, April, Kila, Jesse, Jason, Adam, Joey, Heavan, Mellissa and Christine; and many great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Bobier; a son, Ronnie Bobier; parents, Cecil and Leona Sealey; and step-brother, John Sealey.
