Elizabeth "Bette" J Antrim

October 25, 1924 — April 23, 2018

   Elizabeth Jean “Bette” Antrim, 93 South Sioux City passed away Monday April 23, 2018 at a Sioux City Hospital.    Services will be 2 P.M. Thursday at Becker – Hunt Funeral Home with Rev. Rex Wentzel officiating Burial will be in the Dakota City Cemetery. Following there service at the cemetery there will a gathering the First Presbyterian Church in South Sioux City for a time to share memories. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.    Bette was born October 25, 1924, in rural Sloan, Iowa the daughter of Calvin T. and Mary (Chartier) Godsey. She married Roy C. Folkins. After his death she married Charles H. Antrim November 6, 1959 in Omaha, Nebraska. Bette was employed as an insurance under rider for Grandy Pratt Insurance, for over fifty years, retiring November 1, 1987.    She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in South Sioux City, served as a deacon. She was a member of the Sioux City Insurance Women’s Association, a longtime member of the Chamberetts and served as treasurer, and the Abu Bekr Shrine Women’s Auxiliary.    Survivors include: a niece Sharon and her husband Jerry Collins of South Sioux City, a nephew David Godsey of Sloan, Iowa, sister-in-law Lorraine Godsey, nephews-in-law: Jerry (Shirley) Sides, Dennis (Bea) Sides, niece-in-law: Jeannie (Bob) Sailor, great great nephew: Mike (Kate) Collins, Nicholas (Amanda) Collins, Great great great niece and nephews: Arabella and Jayden Collins, Matthew and Jason Godsey, Riley and Lizzy Collins.    Pallbearers will be Jerry Sides, Dennis Sides, Matthew and Jason Godsey, Nick and Mike Collins.    Memorials be sent to Abu Bekr Transportation Fund in memory of Bette.
