Elizabeth Jane Dewey

Elizabeth Jane Dewey, 59, of Sioux City, passed away Friday, September 10, 2021 at a local hospital. 

A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 P.M. Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Mayflower Congregational Church, 1407 W. 18th St., Sioux City, IA 51103.

Elizabeth was born January 19, 1962 in Kearney, Nebraska, the daughter of Robert and Joyce (Jewett) Clancy. She was a devoted member of Mayflower Congregational Church. Despite her health issues, Elizabeth was very independent. She enjoyed running errands herself and visiting with friends. She adored her cat named Kitty.

Those left to honor her memory is her son, Eric (Jesse) Clancy of Melvin, IA; grandchildren Alexa Reed-Clancy, Carter and Blake Clancy; brothers Steve Clancy of South Dakota and Scott (Jean) Clancy of Kansas City, MO; nieces and nephews Cathy Clancy of Kansas City, MO, Scotty Clancy of Sioux City, Cindy (Nate) Hohl of Kansas City, MO; four great-nieces Charlotte, Olivia, Nina, & Ruby; and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Shawn Clancy, and sister Karen Clancy.
