Elizabeth McCarthy

Elizabeth "Liz" McCarthy passed away in South Bend, IN on Friday, February 25, 2022. 

Visitation will be held at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel on Saturday, March 19, 2022, from 4pm to 7pm with a Celebration of Life in the Chapel from 6pm to 7pm. Friends and family are welcome to join this celebration. Online condolences may be made to www.meyerbroschapels.com.

Liz was born to Richard G. and Estella Harmon on July 10, 1947, in Spirit Lake, IA. She is survived by her sisters Darcel Boyok and Denice Levay; her daughters Shannon (Todd) Kuntz and Heather (Kurt) Schroeder; her former husband John McCarthy; her grandchildren Connor Kuntz, Katherine Kuntz, and Oliver Schroeder; along with many in-laws, nieces and nephews. 

Liz is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Richard A. Harmon.
