Elizabeth “June” (Randall) Wilson, 98 of Sioux City, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 1, 2024 at a local nursing facility. A Memorial Service will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 5, 2024 at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel with Reverend Scott Squires officiating. Burial will follow at Dakota City Cemetery. Visitation, with family present, will be one hour prior to the service Friday morning. Online condolences may be offered at www.meyerbroschapels.com

June was born on June 13, 1926 in Sioux City, Iowa to Frank and Leona (Smith) Randall. 

She married Howard Wilson, and they were married over 60 years. She worked for Haakinson & Beaty Steel Company as their accountant and office manager for 27 years. June was a member of the Crescent Park Methodist Church for over 60 years. She was the church Treasurer for many years and was an active member of the Women’s Society. June was passionate about gardening and loved spending time in her flower garden at home. She collected coins throughout the years and enjoyed tole painting. June was a very loyal and caring person, always putting her family first. 

 

She is preceded in death by her husband, Howard; son, Pierce; sister, Marilyn; brother-in-law Glenn; mother, Leona; and father, Frank. 

 

She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer; grandson, Asher (Madde); great-grandchildren Antonietta and Cillian; brother, Michael (Joyce); and many nieces and nephews. 

 

In remembrance of June’s life, the family asks that any charitable donations be made to Crescent Park Global Methodist or cancer research.
