Georgeen Jones

Georgeen Jones, 91, of Sioux City passed away on Monday, January 7, 2019 at her residence. There will be no public services, but there will be a family gathering at a later date. Georgeen was born on March 9, 1927 in Sioux City, to Charles and Ann (Rys) Martin. She graduated from Central High School in 1944, and attended post-secondary courses in Stockton, CA for 2 years. Following college, she worked for N.W. Bell Phone Company until she began a family. She then began doing janitorial and office work for Harris Janitor, which later changed its name to Tri-State Janitorial.  

She is survived by her children: son Marty Jones of Sioux City, son Ward Jones of Norfolk, NE, and daughter Roxanne Hess (Michael) of North Mankato, MN; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Georgeen was preceded in death by her parents.
