Glenn Everett Donnelly

Glenn Everett Donnelly, 79, of Sioux City, IA, passed away February 1st, 2022 at a local specialty care facility.  A memorial visitation will be held Monday, February 7th from 4-7PM at Mohr & Becket-Hunt Funeral Home in South Sioux City, NE.  

Glenn was born on January 17th, 1943 in Homer, NE to Frank and Viola (Messersmith) Donnelly.  He graduated from Homer High School.  Glenn was an entrepreneur and owned many businesses in the area including a pallet company for 40 years.  He was a very social person and enjoyed making new friends and catching up with old friends.  He loved traveling, reading books, playing pool and spending time with family and friends.  His grandchildren and great grandchildren were his greatest joy and he loved to spoil them.  He also loved watching them play sports. 

Those left to honor his memory include his children: Janet (Dan) Kelly, San Antonio, TX, Jeff (Erin) Donnelly, Dakota City, NE, Shelley (Mike) Boden, Summerfield, NC; brother, David (Pat) Donnelly, Homer, NE; grandchildren: Taryn Donnelly, Nicholas Boden and Allison Boden; great-grandchildren: Kambry, Berkeley and Kolie; and many other close family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sister Mildred Kelly; grandson Dash Donnelly.
