Gloria D. (Bruggeman) Schultz, 78, of South Sioux City, NE passed away at her residence on Tuesday, December 13, 2016.Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, December 19, 2016 at Mohr Funeral Home in South Sioux City, NE. Burial will be in the Dakota City Cemetery. Visitation with the family present will be held from 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., with a prayer service at 5:00 P.M. on Sunday, December 18, 2016 at the funeral home.Gloria was born on February 16, 1938 in Monroe, NE, the daughter of Rev. Cloyd and Lillie (Elder) Sailors. The family moved to South Sioux City, NE when Gloria was thirteen. She attended South Sioux City High School. Gloria married Ed Bruggeman in August, 1954 in South Sioux City, NE and they were blessed with 7 children; Cindy, Kathy, Jean, Patty, Ken, Jim and Jenny. She worked for Dr. Aitken at his dental office until her retirement. Ed passed away on September 2, 1992. She married Willis Schultz on July 29, 1994 in Martinsburg, NE. They settled in Martinsburg and later moved to South Sioux City.She was a member of Hope Lutheran Church in South Sioux City, NE, loved her church and was a good friend to many. Her family and grandchildren were her life, and they were blessed to have her in their lives.Survivors include her children, Cindy (Lee) Ford, Jean Orr, Ken (Laura) Bruggeman, Jim Bruggeman (Penny Rosfjord), Jenny Bruggeman; son-in-law, Randy McDonald; step-children, Karen (Don) Helberg and Vic (Cherie) Schultz; 25 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great granddaughter; brothers, Doyle (Eileen) Sailors and LeRoy Sailers; sister-in-law, Donna Sailors; and several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Bruggeman; parents, Rev. Cloyd and Lillie Sailors; 2 daughters, Kathy McDonald and Patty Bruggeman; son-in-law, Wesley Orr, Jr.; sister and brother-in-law, Bev (Jim) Earnest and nephew Jimmy Earnest; brother, Don Sailors; brother-in-law, James Bruggeman; and nephew, Jason Bruggeman.In lieu of flowers, please direct memorials to the family for memorial determinations to be made at a later date.
