Greg Daniel Stribley

Greg Daniel Stribley, 61, of South Sioux City, NE passed away Friday, July 16, 2021 at his residence.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at the Mohr & Becker-Hunt Funeral Home with Chaplain Brenda Zahnley, Tyson Fresh Meats, officiating.  Online condolences may be given at www.meyerbroschapels.com.

Greg was born November 10, 1959 in Ames, Iowa, the son of Gary and Joyce (Andersen) Stribley.  He graduated from Mason City High School and attended Western Iowa Tech in Sioux City.  Greg was the Associate Director of Engineering for Hides and Tannery at Tyson Foods.  He married Barbara Lang on March 3, 1997 in Las Vegas, NV.   Greg loved fishing, cheering on the Nebraska Huskers, and spending time with his grandchildren. 

Survivors include his wife Barbara Stribley of South Sioux City; parents Gary (Donna) Stribley of Okoboji, IA and Joyce Leach of Albert Lee, MN; children:   Jennifer Fischer of MN, Justin (Trina) Smith of Des Moines, IA, and Ashley Smith of Sioux City; grandchildren:  Kimberly Fischer, Christopher Fischer, Chance Fischer, Nevaeh Smith, Jaelynn Smith, Lanaya Smith, and Brantley Smith; sister Natalie (Greg) Hubble of Littleton, CO, and brothers Mike Stribley of Albert Lee, MN, and Eric Meyer of Albert Lee, MN.

He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents.
