Harry O. Harris

Harry O. Harris, 66, of Hubbard, Nebraska, passed away Saturday, October 16, 2021 after a battle with cancer.  A memorial visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at Mohr & Becker-Hunt Funeral Home. 

Harry was born the son of Winona MacIntosh on April 21, 1955 in Omaha, Nebraska.  He finished high school while honorably serving his country in the United States Marine Corps.  Harry has spent the last 25 years with his wife, Marcia Davis.  They lived in Sioux City for several years before moving to Hubbard in 2004.

Harry worked for Westrock for nearly 30 years until his retirement. 

He was a proud Friend of Bill W and spent several years volunteering with Marcia to help the community.  He was affectionately known by his grandchildren as “Papa Harry”.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and riding motorcycles over the years. 

Harry is survived by his wife, Marcia Davis; her children, Scott (Jennifer) Fritz, Aaron (Ronna) Fritz, and Matthew (Amber) Fritz; siblings, Mike Harris and Cindy Harris; and several beloved grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Chris, Ronnie, and Rick.
