Heng Seng, 70, of Sioux City, passed away May 31, 2020 at a local hospital. A visitation will be held Friday, June 5 from 5-8 p.m. at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel. Heng was born on September 15, 1949 in Cambodia. He was united in marriage to Chan Thar in 1970. Together they relocated to South Dakota in 1979. In 1985 they made Sioux City their home. Heng began working at Tyson in 1985 and was currently still employed there. Heng enjoyed fishing, gardening, being outdoors, and fixing things around the house.
Those left to honor his memory include his wife Chan Thar, Sioux City; daughter Chanterri Seng, Sioux City; sons: Hak Seng, Sioux City, and Huor Seng, Cambodia; grandchildren: Sidnitra Kong, Shaundinah, Kiana, and Tyler; great grandson, Arryan Seng; sister, Ly Hor Cheng, and brother-in-law, Sarun Meng.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
