Hilaria D. Pascarella left us on June 13, 2021 at 69 years old. Hilaria was born August 16, 1952 in Chuuk, Micronesia, on Nema Island to Kuloster and Lotte Deitas.
A lover of water, she met and married her Navy man, Kenneth Pascarella who was stationed in Guam. To their family, they welcomed their daughter, Kermina. Together they enjoyed living the island life. You would always find them either on the beach or on a boat. Later on she moved to the mainland with her good friend, Nancy and called Missouri her home.
Hilaria was never alone, as she always had her dogs, which were her babies. Hilaria was outspoken and always willing to say what she thought. When Hilaria was around, it was always fun. She turned everything into a party.
Hilaria enjoyed living on her own and being independent. She took special pleasure in her nieces and nephews. In 2008 she went to Oklahoma to live for a time to help her niece care for her newborn girl and toddler boys. She was thrilled when her brother Ruben moved to Missouri. There they both enjoyed their carefree lives. As her health declined she moved to Iowa with nieces and nephews and it is now her resting place.
She is survived by her daughter Kermina of California. Grandchildren Kenneth, Komari, Edward, and Imani of California. Loving nieces and nephews from all over.
She is preceded in death by her parents Kuloster and Lotte Deitas. Siblings: Takis K. Deitas, Kilarta D. Sop, Ruben K. Deitas, Obet K. Deitas, Tersina D. Aisek, Mark K. Deitas.
She is now reunited with her parents and siblings on the big island in the sky.
