Irene J. Miller

Irene Miller, 80, of South Sioux City, NE, passed away October 1, 2021 at a local hospital.  A memorial service will be held Wednesday, October 6 at 11:00 AM at Mohr & Becker-Hunt Funeral Home.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral.  Burial will be at a later date at Dakota City Cemetery.  Online condolences may be made to www.meyerbroschapels.com.

Irene was born on July 6, 1941 in South Sioux City, NE to Merrill and Margaret (Owens) Fowler.  She was united in marriage to Kenneth Miller on May 16, 1959 in South Sioux City.  He preceded her in death in 2001.  To this union they had 3 children.  Irene dedicated her life to taking care of her children, Debra and Randall, for over 60 years.  She enjoyed shopping, baking, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren.  She liked to keep up with all of their activities.

Those left to honor her memory include her children: Dennis (Jean) Miller, Debra Miller, Randall Miller, All of South Sioux City, NE; grandchildren: D.J. (Jess) Miller, and their children, Ayden and McKenzy, of Omaha, NE; Amanda (Brett) Snoozy and their children, Kaelyn and Maxen, of Sioux Falls; Kayla (Nick) Nieman, and their children, Akeo, Harper and Hensley, of Dakota City, NE; Ashley (Liddy) Miller, and their children, Kennedy and Nixon, of Sioux City, IA; Kelsey (Kevin) Miller, Sioux City, IA, Ali Miller, South Sioux City, NE; and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; 1 sister; and several brothers.
