Irma Carrillo

Irma Carrillo, de 41 años, de Sioux City, falleció el lunes 4 de abril de 2022 en un hospital local luego de una valiente batalla contra el cáncer.

Se realizará una Misa de Cristiana Sepultura a las 10:00 a.m. Sábado, 9 de abril de 2022 en la Iglesia Católica Catedral de la Epifanía. El velorio con la familia presente será el viernes de 5:00 p. m. a 8:00 p. m. con un Rosario a las 6:30 P.M. y un Servicio de Vigilia a las 7:00 P.M. en la Capilla Colonial Meyer Brothers. Irma nació el 23 de diciembre de 1980 en Harlingen, Texas, hija de Ramón Estrada y María Consuelo Meza. Se casó con Oscar Carrillo el 25 de julio del 2018 en Sioux City. Irma era una verdadera "chica femenina" y le encantaba maquillarse, ir de compras y arreglarse las uñas; pero su mayor amor fue ser madre de sus cinco hijos y pasar tiempo con su familia. Fue miembro de la Iglesia Católica Catedral de la Epifanía.

Los sobrevivientes incluyen a su esposo: Oscar Carrillo; padres: Ramón Estrada y María Consuelo Meza; sus cinco hijos: David Jr. Topete, 23, Daniel Topete, 18, Daisy Topete, 16, Sebastián García, 6, and Andres Gael Carrillo, 3; hermano: Jose Luis Estrada y esposa Alice; hermana: San Juanita Meza y pareja Melvin Gonzales; y numerosas sobrinas, sobrinos y primos.

Irma fue precedida en muerte por su hermano Ramón Estrada Jr., un tío Héctor Meza y sus abuelos maternos.

Irma Carrillo, 41, of Sioux City passed away Monday, April 4, 2022 at a local hospital following a courageous battle with cancer.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, April 9, 2022 at Cathedral of the Epiphany Catholic Church.  Visitation with the family present will be Friday from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. with a Rosary at 6:30 P.M. and a Vigil Service at 7:00 P.M. at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.  Online condolences may be given at www.meyerbroschapels.com.

Irma was born December 23, 1980 in Harlingen, Texas, the daughter of Ramon Estrada and Maria Consuelo Meza.  She married Oscar Carrillo on July 25, 2018 in Sioux City.  Irma was a true “girly-girl” and loved doing her makeup, shopping, and getting her nails done; but her greatest love was being a mom to her five children and spending time with her family.  She was a member of the Cathedral of the Epiphany Catholic Church.

Survivors include her husband:  Oscar Carrillo; parents:  Ramon Estrada and Maria Consuelo Meza; her five children:  David Jr. Topete, 23, Daniel Topete, 18, Daisy Topete, 16, Sebastian Garcia, 6, and Andres Gael Carrillo, 3; brother:  Jose Luis Estrada and wife Alice; sister:  San Juanita Meza and significant other Melvin Gonzales; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Irma was preceded in death by her brother Ramon Estrada Jr., an uncle Hector Meza, and her maternal grandparents.
