Irma Carrillo, 41, of Sioux City passed away Monday, April 4, 2022 at a local hospital following a courageous battle with cancer.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, April 9, 2022 at Cathedral of the Epiphany Catholic Church. Visitation with the family present will be Friday from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. with a Rosary at 6:30 P.M. and a Vigil Service at 7:00 P.M. at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Irma was born December 23, 1980 in Harlingen, Texas, the daughter of Ramon Estrada and Maria Consuelo Meza. She married Oscar Carrillo on July 25, 2018 in Sioux City. Irma was a true “girly-girl” and loved doing her makeup, shopping, and getting her nails done; but her greatest love was being a mom to her five children and spending time with her family. She was a member of the Cathedral of the Epiphany Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband: Oscar Carrillo; parents: Ramon Estrada and Maria Consuelo Meza; her five children: David Jr. Topete, 23, Daniel Topete, 18, Daisy Topete, 16, Sebastian Garcia, 6, and Andres Gael Carrillo, 3; brother: Jose Luis Estrada and wife Alice; sister: San Juanita Meza and significant other Melvin Gonzales; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Irma was preceded in death by her brother Ramon Estrada Jr., an uncle Hector Meza, and her maternal grandparents.
