Jacqueline "Jackie" Eugenia Davis

Jacqueline “Jackie” Eugenia Davis, 84, of Sioux City passed away Thursday, September 15, 2022 in Murfreesboro, TN after a long battle with dementia.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, September 23, 2022 at St. Boniface Catholic Church.  Visitation will be Thursday, September 22, 2022 from 5:00-7:00 P.M. with a Vigil Service at 7:00 P.M. at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.  Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.  Online condolences may be given at www.meyerbroschapels.com.

Jackie was born January 21, 1938 in Sioux City, the daughter of Marvin and Charlotte (Blassl) Leinart.  She graduated from Bishop Heelan High School.  Jackie married Lester G. Davis Jr. on September 12, 1956.  He preceded her in death on May 6, 2003.  She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church.

Survivors include her brother Ronnie and wife Michelle Leinart of Murfreesboro, TN; niece Ashley Leinart-Ralph; nephews:  Doug and wife Tara Leinart and Denny Leinart; and sister-in-law Myrna Leinart of Ft. Collins, CO.   

She was preceded in death by her husband Lester Glen Davis Jr., parents Marvin Ross Leinart and Charlotte Mary (Blassl) Leinart, son Michael Glen Davis, brother Robert Ross Leinart and nephew Mark Ross Leinart.
