James E. “Jim” Boulden, 66, of Sioux City, IA passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2022.
Cremation rites will be accorded and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel is assisting with arrangements.
James Edward “Jim”, the son of Charles Edward and Billie J. (Fredrickson) Boulden, was born October 24, 1955 in California. During his early years, Jim’s family lived in California then moved to Sioux City and back to California. He graduated from high school in El Monte, CA. After high school, he remained in California and was united in marriage to Merri King in Riverside, CA. Jim owned and operated Little Jim’s Gardening and Lawn Care then worked in a bakery for several years. After Jim and Merri divorced, he moved to Sioux City in 2003. He worked various jobs in Sioux City including: Coffee King, Casey’s, and Sunkist Bakery.
Jim enjoyed NASCAR and lowrider/customized vehicles. In recent years, he was a member at Sunnybrook Community Church and volunteered on Sunday’s helping park cars.
Throughout life, Jim’s personal mottos were: “One Day At A Time”, “It Is What It Is” and “What Have You.”
Jim is survived by one sister, Audrey (Mike) Krommenhoek of Sioux City; niece, Kara (Greg) Kuester of Sioux City; nephew, Jack (Jordan) Hysell of Ramsey, MN; and great niece, Megan Kuester of Sioux City.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
