James Wendel Lamason

James Wendel “Jim” Lamason, 85 of South Sioux City, Nebraska passed away on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at an assisted living facility in South Sioux City.  A Private family burial will be on held at Graceland Park Cemetery in Sioux City, Iowa.

Jim was born on October 29, 1936 in Orchard, Nebraska to Melvin and Marion (Wendel) Lamason.  He received his education in the Sioux City Public Schools, graduating with the Class of 1954 from Central High School.  Jim lived in Nebraska and Sioux City for most of his life.  He worked at the Zenith Corporation in Sioux City as a line tester for many years.  Jim was an avid reader, and loved watching sports on the television. 

Jim is survived by his sister Marilyn (Glenn) Gunsolley of South Sioux City, Nebraska and brother Charles (Janet) Lamason of Eureka, Missouri; a niece and five nephews.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents.
