Jeffrey L. Sandage

Jeffrey l. Sandage, 69, of Sioux City, IA, passed away Monday, October 31, 2022 at Accura HealthCare of Sioux City. A memorial Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, November 4, 2022 at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel at 3220 Stone Park Blvd in Sioux City. Jeff was born on July 14, 1953 in Sioux City, Iowa to parents Jack and JoAnn D. “Jody” Sandage. He attended Riverside High School. He has three children. His son Aaron lives in Sioux City with his wife, Erin. His daughter Angela “Angie” lives in Sgt. Bluff, Iowa and his son J Blu Komanekin lives in South Sioux City, Neb. Jeff has five granddaughters, Malia, Piper, Harper, Bayli and Vivienne. He spent the last 28 years of his life with his devoted partner, Dawna Willson, and her two sons, Dave and Jason, also in Sioux City. His brother, Jon Sandage, lives in McCook Lake, South Dakota with his wife, Sheryl. He is also survived by his nephews, niece and cousins.

Jeff was a lover of life. He would tell stories about his time as a crab fisherman in Alaska or riding his Harley Davidson across the Rocky Mountains. He loved fishing and playing games, whether it was strategy board games, card games or video games. His charisma and wit charmed everyone who came into contact with him and he never hesitated to make someone laugh. He will be missed. 

Jeff was preceded in death by his parents and sister Judy LaScala.
