Jerry D. Tomlinson, 60, of Seattle, WA, and formerly of Moville, passed away on Friday, October 8, 2021 in Seattle from complications of Covid. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, October 22, 2021 at the funeral home. Jerry was born on August 1, 1961 in Sioux City, to Max and Patricia Tomlinson. He graduated from Woodbury Central High School in 1979. On October 31, 1981 he married LeAnn Harrington in Elk Point, South Dakota. They lived in Moville, and traveled to various places for work until 2018, then relocated to Seattle, Washington.
Jerry joined IBEW as a Journeyman Electrician in 1997, and was very passionate about his career.
He enjoyed traveling, riding his Harley, and leatherwork. He also loved the Dallas Cowboys and NASCAR.
Survivors include his wife, LeAnn of Sioux City; daughter, Savannah Hogue (Justin) of Sioux City; daughter, Tabetha Tomlinson of Omaha; mother, Patricia Tomlinson of Ida Grove, IA; brother, Brian Tomlinson (Tammi) of Iberia, MO; brother, Tim Tomlinson (Kari) of Akron, IA; sister, Tammy Parker (Derek) of Denver, CO; brother, Scott Tomlinson (Kandice) of Ida Grove, IA; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Max Tomlinson; father-in-law, Gerald Harrington; mother-in-law, Patricia Harrington; uncle, Marrill Tomlinson; and nephew, Cory Tomlinson.
