Joetta was born on May 3, 1942 in Ainsworth, NE to Donald and Ellen (Bunn) Moore.  She has lived in Newell, SD, Cannon Falls, Mn, Rapid City, SD, Glendale, AZ, and Sioux City, IA.  She married Gene Rumpza in 1960 and had three children. She met Bobbe several years later in Glendale, AZ and united in marriage on May 14, 1988 in Rapid City, SD.  Joetta was a woman of many talents. She loved to paint and craft. It started with her painting rocks while living in Arizona. She then became certified as a Donna Dewberry painting instructor and taught art classes in Michaels and JoAnn stores.  Joetta also worked as a detention officer in Phoenix for over 10 years.

Joetta had a great love for nature, especially for birds.  Her and Bob were members of the Purple Martin Conservation Association and housed Purple Martins several years in their 24 birdhouses, reporting the count of eggs and fledglings. She also had a green thumb and enjoyed flowers and gardening. She loved fishing, most of the time catching the bigger one to Bob’s chagrin.

Those left to honor her memory include her husband Bob Berry, Sioux City, IA. Her children: Melinda Arguello of Sioux City, IA, Elaine Pillatzki of Sioux Falls, SD, and Frank Rumpza of Newington, CT. Her grandchildren; Angela Stupak, Travis Geigle, Sara Arguello, Logan Arguello, Dalton Arguello, Deann Pillatzki , Laura Rumpza Hughes, and Jordan Rumpza. Her great-grandchildren: Kylie, Kinley, Kambrie, Rhonin, and her beloved miniature schnauzer, Maggie. Her siblings; Kathy Moore Gerbracht of Cannon Falls, MN, Willa Hanel of Mankato, MN, and Don Moore of Hamilton, Canada.

She is preceded in death by her parents and dogs: Misty and Molly.
