John P. Meyer

John P. Meyer, 78 of Luverne, MN and formerly of Sioux City, passed away Monday, October 14, 2024. A memorial service will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, October 21, 2024 at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

John was born March 1, 1946 to John and Leona (Collins) Meyer in Battle Creek, Iowa. He graduated from Mapleton High School in 1967. On August 28, 1982, John was united in marriage to Wanda Seals at the Cathedral of the Epiphany in Sioux City, Iowa. John worked in a packing house for most of his life. He moved to Luverne, Minnesota in June of 2019. 

John is survived by his wife, Wanda Meyer of Luverne; daughter, Elissa Meyer of Luverne; sister, Marita Consolver of Madrid, Iowa; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Michael Meyer; sister-in-law, Deb Meyer; and brother-in-law, Raymond Consolver.
