Johnny L. Mitchell

John was born to Rose Marie McKay and Clement Mitchell.  He graduated from Walthill High School in Walthill, Nebraska in 1974.  He attended WIT to study Police Science.  He then became a police officer, probation officer and security guard for the Omaha Tribe of Nebraska. He was a welder for Blue Jet in Thurston, Nebraska. He married Cherrill Tyndall  in 1979. He is survived by 6 sisters and 1 brother:  Mary Newton of Macy, Nebraska, Catherine Mitchell of Omaha, Nebraska, Roxanne Mitchell of Sioux City, Iowa, Clementine Looper of Kingsley, Iowa, Molly Redpath of Montana and Jackie Lenzini of Mayetta, Kansas and Ted May from California. He was proceeded in death by his wife Cherrill Tyndall, father Clement Mitchell, sister Virginia French, uncle Floyd McKay of North Dakota and grandfather Alton Mitchell.  He loved snowmobile riding, telling stories and would usually end up a winner at the casino.
