Jordan C. Lines

Jordan C. Lines, 19, of Sioux City, passed away Sunday, January 19, 2020 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Memorial services will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Community United Methodist Church in Sergeant Bluff. 

Jordan was born the son of Tom Lines and Lynn Slater on January 19, 2001 in Sioux City, Iowa. He graduated from Sergeant Bluff High School in 2019 where he was active in the music and drama programs. He had plans to attend Western Iowa Tech in the fall for creative writing.

Jordan worked for Bomgaars for the past three years. He really enjoyed selling tools (especially to his stepfather) and was a great salesman.

Jordan was a self-proclaimed nerd. He loved playing all kinds of games, especially Dungeons and Dragons. He enjoyed singing, fishing and kayaking at the cabin, correcting everyone with random facts, and telling the worst (but best) jokes.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Sergeant Bluff-Luton Music Program in Jordan’s name.

Jordan is survived by his father, Tom Lines of Sioux City; mother, Lynn (Matt) Miles of Sioux City; brothers, E.J. (Alicia) O’Donnell-Lines of Cedar Rapids and Cory Lines and his fiancée, Tiffany Fisher of Sioux City; step-sisters, Toni and Tori Miles of Sioux City; paternal grandmother, Judy Lines-McFadden of Battle Creek, Michigan; and step-mother, Teresa Hughes of Jefferson, South Dakota.
