Judith "Judy" Schutt

Judith “Judy” Schutt, 78, passed away Friday, August 20, 2021.  A memorial service will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, September 2, 2021 at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel.

Judy was born October 26, 1942 in Sioux City, Iowa. She graduated from South Sioux City High School and fulfilled her lifelong dream of becoming a teacher. She taught in Kingsley, Iowa and Fremont, Nebraska before taking a position in South Sioux City where she taught for 34 years.

She married Larry Schutt in 1980. They were married 24 years until his passing in 2005.

She was a friend of Lois W. and Anne S. She was active in Christian Women's Group and Bible Study Group.

Judy is survived by her sister, Susan (Johnny) Hollis of Rancho Cordova, CA; brother, David (Robin) Rainey of Omaha, NE;

Nieces, Keri (Jack) Downing of Dublin, OH, Samantha (Bill) Fleck of Omaha, NE, Kellie Laramie of Rancho Cordova, CA, and Kacie (Joey) Martinez of Rancho Cordova, CA; and numerous great nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Larry.
