Judy A. (McGinty) Robley, 53 of Dakota Dunes, South Dakota, formerly of South Sioux City, Nebraska, passed away on Monday, February 9, 2009 at a Sioux City Hospital after a short battle with cancer.Memorial services will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2009 at 5:30 P.M. at the Mohr Funeral Home, 1000 W. 29th Street at South Ridge Plaza in South Sioux City, Nebraska with Pastor Joe Barnes of Riverzedge Church in Sioux City, Iowa officiating. Visitation with the family present will begin at 5:00 P.m. on Thursday at the Funeral Home. Per her wishes, she was cremated. Online condolences may be sent at www.mohrfuneralhome.com.Judy was born on May 2, 1955 in Sioux City, Iowa, the daughter of Mike and Dorothy (Love) McGinty. She graduated from South Sioux City High School in 1973.Judy married Tim Robley on December 27, 1972. From their marriage one daughter, Carey was born.Judy was a daycare provider for many years, having a special bond with all those she cared for.Survivors include her husband, Tim of Dakota Dunes; a daughter, Carey and Rick Lindsey; a grandson, Brendan C. Lindsey; her parents, Mike and Dorothy McGinty of Dakota Dunes; two brothers, Jim and his wife, Vanessa McGinty of South Sioux City, Nebraska, and Mick and his wife Kerry McGinty of Gilbert, Ariona; one sister, Sharon and her husband, Jim Millard of New Bern, North Carolina; several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and nephews and several aunts and uncles.Judy was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Jean McGinty.In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the June E. Nylen Cancer Center.
