Justin Morris Hardy

   Justin Morris Hardy, 38 of Sioux City, passed away on Monday, January 24, 2022 in Omaha, Nebraska after a courageous battle with cancer. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Justin's funeral will be live streamed at the following links:

Burial will be at Logan Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m., with family present at 6:00 p.m. and a Vigil Service at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 28, 2022 at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Online condolences may be directed to www.meyerbroschapels.com.

   Justin was born on March 25, 1983 in Omaha, Nebraska to Carl and Claudia (Bredar) Hardy. He was a proud Sioux City resident his whole life. He attended school at Blessed Sacrament and West High School, where he graduated in 2002.

   He was an avid bowler, having earned many awards at Plaza Bowl; he also had a 1^st degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do. He enjoyed playing video games, and loved his friends wholeheartedly.

   Justin remained so positive throughout his three years living with cancer; many in his life agree they’d never guess he was sick due to his persistent positive outlook. He truly never met a stranger, and always strove to put the needs of others before himself.

   Left to cherish his memory include his parents: Carl and Claudia Hardy; his siblings: Nellie Ceja; Christina Ochoa (Joel); Alicia Hales (Scott); and Brendan Hardy (Rachael Sims); three nieces; five nephews; and many more wonderful family members and friends.

   He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents; and a cousin, Scott Baxter.
