Kenneth Max Deemer

Kenneth Max Deemer, 80, of Homer, NE, passed away October 3, 2022.  A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, October 9^th at 1:00 p.m. at the Legion Hall in Homer, NE.  Mohr & Becker-Hunt Funeral Home is assisting the family.  Online condolences may be made to www.meyerbroschapels.com.

Max was born on August 20, 1942 in Lamoni, IA to Arthur and Eunice (Waddell) Deemer. First and foremost, Max was a family man, and lived his life dedicated to providing for his family. There was nothing that Max could not do, literally, he was a Jack of all trades. Always a friendly face, a warm conversation, and quick to crack a joke!

Those left to honor his memory include his children:  Veronica and (Bret) Smith, Brad and (April) Deemer; and Jill Guy and (Clayton Robert), all of Homer, NE; siblings:  Jeanette Hittle, Joan (Gary) Sheets, Steven (Janet) Deemer; Debra, his companion, several nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Karen, his parents, 3 brothers, Raymond, Robert, and Michael, a sister, Beth, and one granddaughter, Sammi Barclay.
