Kenneth G. Larson

   Kenneth G. Larson, 96, of South Sioux City passed away on Tuesday, October 23, 2018. Graveside services were held Friday, October 26, 2018 with Military Honors. Online condolences may be directed to www.meyerbroschapels.com.

   Kenneth was born November 22, 1921 in Homer, NE, the son of George and Mabel (Jacobsen) Larson. He graduated from Homer High School in 1939. Kenneth lived in California and later joined the Navy. Kenneth married Rosemary Mitchell on September 18, 1949 at the First Lutheran Church in South Sioux City. They were blessed with 3 daughters.

   Ken and Rosemary celebrated 69 years of marriage.

   He worked for Curry’s Flooring for 36 years. During retirement, Ken loved golfing, gardening, and traveling, especially to see his girls and grandkids. He was also a big Huskers fan.

   Left to cherish his memory are his three daughters: Laurie, Laurene, and Debbie; three grandchildren: Michelle, Megan, and Nick; five great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, and cousins.

   He was preceded in death by his parents George and Mabel Larson; brothers: Joseph and Everett; and sister, Marjorie.
