Kenneth L. McWilliams

Kenneth L. McWilliams, 58, of Sioux City, IA, passed away December 25, 2021 at his residence. A funeral service will be held Friday, December 31 at 11:00 a.m. at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel. The funeral will be live streamed at the following link: https://youtu.be/l-Xrq6Iav7o Visitation will be from 9-11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. In honor of Kenny, please feel free to dress casually. Online condolences may be made to www.meyerbroschapels.com. Kenny was born on May 26, 1963 in Sioux City to Ronald and Mary Ann (Sheehan) McWilliams. He enlisted in the United States Navy in 1982 in Sioux City and served until 1986 when he was honorably discharged. He was united in marriage to Jerri Mitchell on May 28, 1993 in Elk Point, SD. He was employed with the FAA as an Air Traffic Systems Specialist for 34 years. He was a member of Sunnybrook church, the Hawkeye Rifle and Pistol Club and the Sergeant Bluff American Legion. He enjoyed working out, and spending time with his family and pets. He loved all animals, especially his cat who will miss him dearly. Kenny was known for being 100% Irish, his amazing sense of humor, and his heart of gold. His amazing personality will be missed by all of his friends and family. Those left to honor his memory include his wife Jerri McWilliams, Sioux City, IA; children: Luke McWilliams, Reed McWilliams, Katie (Dylan) Davis, Tyler (Amber McNeill) McWilliams; parents: MaryAnn and Vernon Yates; parent-in-laws: Richard (Sally) Howard; siblings: Natalie (Rob) Broderson and Vernon (Katie) Yates Jr.; brothers-in-law: Dan (Nicole) Mitchell, Jeremy (Kim) Taylor, Justin (Lea) Taylor, and Doug (Connie) Mitchell; grandchildren: Laila, Riley, Bodhi, Cash and Kenny.
