Kent was born on February 15, 1967, to Art and Pharyce (Linafelter) Eslick, joining big sister, KarLynn, whom he pestered and followed everywhere. The dynamic duo was later joined by little sister Tracey, who seemed to always be there, and the three musketeers were formed.
Kent was an amazing husband and father. On June 17, 1989, he married the love of his life, Brenda Daniels. They shared many memories together with their three children, Nicholas, Meghan and Connor. Kent was always a proud father and never hesitated to tell anyone about his kids. Kent was also a wonderful son and brother, never hesitating to be there when his mom or sister needed something and always giving hugs when leaving.
Kent loved to fish and hunt. He always liked to think of himself as the world’s greatest mushroom hunter, a skill he learned from his dad! He also had a passion for golden retrievers, and his precious puppies have travelled far and wide to become beloved fur-babies to so many families.
Left to cherish Kent’s memory are his wife of 32 years, Brenda, children Nicholas of Rapid City, SD, Meghan, of Espyville, PA, and Connor of Emerson, NE, and granddaughters Ashlyn and Ava of Rapid City, SD. Mother, Pharyce Eslick of Dakota City, NE and sister Tracey Anderson of Wakefield, NE. Mother-in-law Dorothy Daniels of Ponca, NE, brother-in-law: Mark and spouse Lisa Daniels of Carroll, NE, sisters-in-law: Marcia and spouse Ryan Saegebarth of Pierce, NE, Annette Schoor of Ponca, NE, Nancy and spouse Trevin Wimmer of Ponca, NE, and Penny and spouse Martin Benton of Dakota City, NE, along with many nieces, nephews, uncles, and cousins.
Those waiting to welcome him home are his Dad, Art, sister KarLynn and Father-in-law Dean Daniels, brother-in-law Alan Schnoor, as well as grandparents, aunts and an uncle.
