Kristy A. Thomas, 63, of South Sioux City, NE passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at Regency Square Care Center in South Sioux City, NE following a courageous battle with cancer.Memorial services will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at the Mohr Funeral Home in South Sioux City, NE. Visitation with the family present will begin one hour prior to the service.Kristy was born in Sioux City, IA on August 21, 1950, the daughter of Darwin and Leora (Macklem) Lundin. She grew up and attended school in California. She married and had 4 children, Shannon, Michael, Keri and Stacey. Kristy lived in South Sioux City for the past twelve years and worked at the Argosy Casino.She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed working on her crafts, hobbies, and with power tools. She always kept busy and was quite an artist.Survivors include her mother, Leora Lundin; her children, Shannon, Michael, Keri and Stacey; 10 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and many, many beautiful, wonderful cousins.Kristy was preceded in death by her father, Darwin Lundin.
