Larry Irwin Potter

Larry I. Potter, 77, of Dakota City, NE passed away after a battle with cancer on October 8, 2022.  Per his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services.  Mohr & Becker-Hunt is assisting the family.  Online condolences may be made to www.meyerbroschapels.com.

Larry was born on August 26, 1945 in Rapid City, SD to Maurice and Darline (Work) Potter.  He entered in the United States Army and served for over 7 years before being honorably discharged.  He was united in marriage to Monika Haussler on April 27, 1973 in Germany.  Larry began his career at IBP and eventually retired from Tyson.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and the fireworks on the 4^th of July.  He was a huge Nebraska Husker fan and would never miss watching a game.  Larry loved his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Monika Potter; daughters: Cindy Logan and Jenny Mahler; grandchildren: Ashley Julian, Zachary Potter, Austen Potter, Tyler Mahler, and Katie Mahler; great-grandchildren: Maelyn, Addylynn, and Everlee; brothers: Roger and Terry Potter; and sisters: Charlotte Kennedy and Cheryl Potter.

He is preceded in death by his parents.
