LaVonne was born on July 24, 1934 to Albert C. and Goldie (Clausen) Wonder, at home in Correctionville, Iowa on the kitchen table, on the hottest day on record in July, which record still stands. When she was 9 years old, the family moved to Danbury, Iowa, where she attended grade school west of town. In high school, LaVonne was extremely active, enjoying playing the clarinet in band, and cheerleading. LaVonne married Ronald D. Keleher on January 20, 1951 in Danbury, Iowa. To this union six children were born. She, and 9 other family members in 1978, received their GED certificates together before she continued her education at Western Iowa Tech, receiving her LPN Nursing Degree. During her time in the workforce, she was a member of Mercy Medical Center, as a nurse, as a medical secretary, and retiring as a mental health technician.
LaVonne enjoyed playing BINGO, shopping, camping, and gardening her flower beds. She was an avid animal lover, especially her dogs, and took great pride in making sure visitors, regardless if family or friends, would be fed well from anything she whipped-up in the kitchen.
LaVonne is survived by her three children Sheryl Keleher-Prins, Kevin (Louise) Keleher, Sr. and Gayelynne Keleher-Flanders, all of Siouxland; grandchildren Justin, David, Ronnie, Jr., Jennifer, Stephanie, Steven, Benji, A.J., Jeremy, Joshua, Jessie, Jodi, K.J., Mindy, Nick, Brandon, Brent, Jimmy, Melissa, and Kim; over 60 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and special friend Carol Keleher.

Keleher, sister Laveda Dose, grandchildren Misty Keleher, James Paul Prins, Rickie and Nicole Keleher, one great-grandson Gage Prins, and one son-in-law Paul Prins.
