Linda R. Hunn

Linda R. Hunn, 65, passed away on Thursday, November 13, 2014 at her home in Hubbard, NE while surrounded by family.Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, November 16 at Mohr Funeral Home in South Sioux City, NE with Father Paul Albenesius officiating. Visitation will begin at noon, with the family present at 1:00 P.M. prior to the service.Linda was born in Wakefield, NE on November 25, 1948, the daughter of Raymond and Irene (Fuchser) Van Lent. She graduated from Emerson High School. Linda married Jim Jepsen in 1968 in South Sioux City, NE. To this union two sons and a daughter were born. On August 23, 2005, Linda married Ron Hunn in Pender, NE and together they lived in Hubbard, NE.Linda had many hobbies and interests, including traveling, visiting friends, helping her community, gardening and working in her yard. She was very family oriented and especially loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.Survivors include her husband, Ron Hunn of Hubbard, NE; sons, Shawn Jepsen and Sylvia Cohn of Garden City, KS; Chad and Kelly Jepsen of Gretna, NE; step-children, Rhonda and Jay Brown of Prague, NE, James Hunn and Penni Heitmann of Dakota Dunes, SD; mother, Irene Van Lent of Hubbard, NE; brother, Bob and Twila Van Lent of Emerson, NE; grand children; Britni and Michael Stamp, Dalton Jepsen, Damon Jepsen, Delany Jepsen, Taylor Martin and Ethan Martin.Linda was preceded in death by her father Raymond Van Lent and daughter Stacy Jepsen.The family would like to extend a special thanks to Hospice of Siouxland and Liz Dreeszen for all of their care, assistance and support.
