Linda Rae Konken

Linda Rae Konken, 70, of Ponca, NE passed away March 26, 2021 at her residence.  A funeral service will be held Monday, March 29 at 10:30 A.M. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Martinsburg, NE.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at church.  Burial will be at Silver Ridge Cemetery in Ponca, NE.  Mohr Funeral Home in Ponca is handling the arrangements.  Online condolences may be made to www.meyerbroschapels.com.

Linda was born on February 14, 1951 in Ponca to Francis and Lucille (Harder) Anderson.  She was united in marriage to Gail Konken on May 21, 1982 in Martinsburg, NE.  Her and Gail liked to travel and spend time with family.  Linda was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Martinsburg, the VFW and Legion Ladies Auxiliary member, and enjoyed singing and playing the guitar.  She was a devoted dog lover, and especially loved her dogs and going to the park with them.  She will join her beloved dogs, Taffy and Heidi in Heaven.

Those left to honor her memory include her husband Gail Konken, Ponca, NE; step-children: Leon, Melissa, and Eugenia Konken, all of Sioux City, IA; 4 grandchildren; mother-in-law, Loretta Hahn, Coleridge, NE; brother, Francis Anderson, Herrick, SD; brother’s-in-law: Galen Konken, CO and Greg (Sue) Konken, Lennox, SD; and several cousins, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents and dogs, Taffy and Heidi.
