Linda M. Roost

Linda M. Roost, 64 of South Sioux City, NE passed away on Thursday, August 1, 2013 at a local hospital.Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, August 5, 2013 at the Mohr Funeral Home in South Sioux City, NE with Rev. Kevin Roach officiating. Burial will be in Dakota City Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. on Monday morning.Linda was born on January 8, 1949 in Sioux City, IA, the daughter of Roy and Fern (Cain) Farley. After graduating from high school she was united in marriage to Gary Roost. Linda was a homemaker and also operated a day care for children from her home. She liked to work her garden, and enjoyed shopping and playing games, like crossword puzzles. Her cats, Toby and Holly were precious to her. Linda attended River Hills Church.Survivors include her husband, Gary; her daughter Crystal "Chrissy" and her husband, Ray Neal of Dakota City, NE: sister-in-law, Norma Geveshausen and Frank Nelson; two special friends, Carol Veenker and LaVonne Campbell; nieces, nephews and cousins.Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Fern Farley.
